As a Freelance Researcher at the Institute for Identity (INSTID), I conduct desk and field research, manage client relationships, create client databases, and engage in LinkedIn and e-mail outreach. As a part of my job, I also monitor the web to stay
up-to-date with the world of Place Branding to share interesting news happening to the Place Branding community on Linked In.
I’m driven by the potential of place branding to make real-world changes, from the way people interact with their environments to how cities can be reimagined through urbanism, architecture, and psychology. My work at INSTID allows me to connect people and places, taking small yet impactful steps toward transforming cities and the way we view them.
With a background in Graphic Design, Advertising, PR, and Branding (BA, Middlesex University), and a recent MA in Place Branding, I am excited to bring fresh insights into how communities and cities can cultivate their identity and voice to improve lives for the long term.
During my studies I was learning from many Place Branding big minds such as Dr. Giannina Warren, Konrad Jagodzinski, Dr. Florian Kaefer, Dr. Natasha Norman, Clare Dewhirst, Penny Bagnall-Smith, and many more.
Having honed my skills through internships with The Place Brand Observer and City Nation Place, I’ve developed a keen understanding of the global place branding landscape. I’m also passionate about the intersection of place-making, tactical urbanism, and cultural exploration, international relations, and politics.
Originally from a small town in the Czech Republic, I moved to London with the ambition to learn, grow, and experience new cultures. Travel is a personal passion of mine, as I love discovering the world and understanding the stories behind different places and cultures.
I thrive in collaborative, team-based environments and am always eager to learn from others. My goal is to continue growing within the place branding field, exploring how cities and communities can evolve, and contribute to the creation of spaces that help people feel connected, inspired, and empowered.
I AM OPEN to job opportunities in the fields of Place Branding, Tourism, International Relations, Events and more!
